Amit Barak | CEO
Amit has a successful track record in managing hundreds of product design and development projects in the last 22 years. His experience includes initiating, designing and creating new products, while integrating cutting edge technologies and inspiring designs, for which he won numerous awards. Prior to founding Taga, Amit worked as a free-lancer, managing projects for leading companies such as General Electric, Philips, Scitex and Orbotech. Amit holds bachelor degree in Industrial Design (BScTE), from Holon Institute of Technology, Tel-Aviv University, and Master in management and entrepreneurship (MEI) from Swinburne University, Melbourne, Australia. His passion to design has led him to make several non-rational decisions in his career, but he doesn't regret it...
Miky Heimann | VP Engineering
Miky has 25 years of experience in plastic engineering, design for manufacturing and subcontractors management. Miky is a specialist in parametric 3D and surface modeling design and is an expert in systems integration of Hi-Tech products, using wide range of technologies: Injected plastics, thermo-forming, composite laminates, sheet metal and machining. Prior to founding Taga, Miky worked as a free-lancer involved mainly in engineering projects. Previously, he was a partner and Head of Engineering in Trigon and PentaTeam. Miky holds B.A.Des. in industrial design, from Bezalel Art & Design Academy in Jerusalem and is a bachelor of Plastics studies from Rupin College. He is also an enthusiastic cyclist and an ex bicycle racing coach with countless false attempts to chase Lance Armstrong on the French Alps.
Hagai Barak | VP Marketing
Hagai is a marketing executive with 19 years of experience in various marketing and management positions.
During the last 5 years, he was the General Manager of Taga B.V., which is Taga's Dutch bike-stroller spin-off.
Before joining Taga, Hagai was Associate Vice President in Comverse, a global Hi-Tech corporation, where he was responsible for the product marketing activities of the company's main product line, sold in more than 100 countries. Previously, Hagai was a team leader in Shaldor, a leading strategic consulting firm, working for consumer product companies such as Tnuva, Elite and Teva, and a manager of a successful night club (which explains why he still finds it difficult to wake up for early morning meetings...). Hagai holds a BA in Economics and Management and MBA, both from Tel Aviv University.
Benny Kiron | Sales & Business Development Director
Benny has more than 30 years of experience in the design & engineering industry. Prior to joining Taga, Benny owned and managed Integral Form, a design and engineering firm, for 17 years. Before that, he worked as an Industrial Design Manager in Mennen Medical (Israel and USA) and previously as a designer in Philips Design Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Benny has master degree in Product Design from the Design Academy in Eindhoven (DAE), where he also won the Philips Design Award. Benny is fluent in English, Dutch and Hebrew. His main hobby is History and collecting old maps. He is driving to customers using a map from 1692. No surprise that he is never late - this map was used originally for driving to customers on camels!
David Altit | Industrial Design Director
David is working as a product designer for more than 10 years. Before joining Taga, David worked as a senior industrial designer at Studio Padwa, where he led the main design projects. Previously, he was an independent interior and industrial designer, working for consumer products, medical devices and commercial customers. David has bachelor degree in Industrial Design from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem. He plays football and he is a fan of Barcelona...so if your designs turned out to be lousy it's not our fault...it is your responsibility to check whether Rial Madrid won the night before!
Shlomit Rosenzweig | Administration and Logistics Manager
Shlomit spent a long period in China before joining Taga. Shlomit holds BA in Computer Science and BA in East-Asian studies from Haifa University. In Addition, she studied for MA in International Relations, major in China, and spent two years of Chinese studies in the Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU). As part of her work in China, she was responsible for production and logistics projects and assisted senior business executives in conducting business in China. Shlomit is fluent in Chinese (speaking, reading ,writing...), Hebrew and English. She plays a piano and bakes Chinese fortune cookies on her spare time...she is so good in telling the future that you don't have to call us to setup a meeting...she will call you instead, before you even pick up the phone...
