They decided to take their 3D printing technology and use it to create a functional and customizable motorized hand prosthesis for children that need one.
Taga happily volunteered to help Haifa 3D with this beautiful cause and designed a bionic hand that can be adjusted individually to address the needs and wishes of each child (size, color, graphics, etc).
Children can use graphics of Superman, Spiderman, Hello Kitty, or FC Barcelona, and then the hand is printed in a 3D printer at a low cost.
Children who were born without hands grow quickly and the prosthesis needs to be replaced quickly, so they don’t actually have another solution. These children are also often at the bottom of the social pecking order and suddenly they have a superhero hand and it lifts them upward.
All engineering work was done by Haifa 3D.
