Renova is a wearable ankle bracelet stimulator for OBA patients for daily use.
The product has 3 parts – the implant that is injected into the patient’s ankle, the bracelet that contains the entire electrical system that activates the implant wirelessly and an app located on the physician’s tablet – so your physician can see the status of your treatment remotely. We examined, investigated and tested this innovative technology, and designed an ergonomic bracelet for daily use at home. We conducted several tests to find a solution that allows easy attachment of the bracelet to any size and geometry of ankle, suitable left and right legs and comfortable to wear and adjust. The goal was to make the use of the device as intuitive as possible with a positive user experience.
The bracelet beeps according to the signal it received from the implant until it reaches a point where it is firmly attached to the ankle and can transmit uninterrupted signals to the implant. Taga also designed the entire user interface of the app, placing special emphasis on making it comfortable, easy, and user-friendly.
