With Sensogenic’s pocket-size IoT allergenic tester, you can eat outside, go to dinner with friends or order whatever you want with the confidence of being able to test your food for allergens.
All you have to do is take a small sample of food, insert it into a disposable tab and insert the tab into the device. The device will check the sample using Sensogenic’s unique technology and the result will appear on your mobile phone.
Taga’s task was to design the product and the mobile app. We made the product easy to use so everyone can use it immediately without the need to read a user manual. One of our innovative ideas in this project was to add a social aspect to the app which enables users to share photos from restaurants they visited and write reviews about safe dishes and allergy-friendly (or non-friendly) restaurants, including an interactive map.
