Noa XT4 – Thermal weapon sight

NOA XT4  is a dual-use clip-on and hand-held thermal weapon/surveillance sight. Compact and lightweight, the NOA XT4 is designed for the dismounted soldier – enhancing the soldier’s tactical action by providing an easy thermal clip-on for mounting in-line with a 4x day magnifier or used as a handheld viewer.

In a matter of seconds, the MIL-STD NOA XT4 converts the user’s combat 4x riflescope into a Thermal Weapon 4x Sight. The NOA XT4 instantly provides the user with a Thermal Sight picture without change in eye relief or weapon zero, allowing engagement of targets through the darkness, smoke, or fog.

When Meprolight came to us with the need to design and plan a thermal night sight that will be used by snipers, we knew it was an interesting challenge – to produce a product that would be high quality, useful, durable convenient, simple to operate, and would meet all military standards.

We carried out the design, putting our emphasis on the human engineering aspect – to produce a highly durable product that can be easily used in all terrains, a product designed for use in harsh conditions and under pressure, and still function at the maximum and optimal level.

The product is completely impermeable to liquids, made of aluminum casting, and can identify objects by body heat. We performed many tests to reach the highest standard and for the product to meet all the criteria and military standards.
