We took a collection of products that seemingly had no mutual feature other than they were based on laser technology and targeting different urological procedures. The goal was to produce a complete line with a similar look and feel, functional modularity, similar qualities, high versatility, and distinct product strategy
Our aim was to produce a prestigious product line, at different scales of performance and prices, with one high-end and complex product which capabilities and features can conquer any urological challenge
We changed the user interface completely and placed extensive emphasis on ease of use, while not compromising on overall product visibility innovation, and professionalism.
One of the important emphasis was serviceability – anyone can repair the products in case of a malfunction just by removing the shell and replacing the part. The product line contains identical properties and similar components to save tooling and logistics costs: screens, pumps, light guides, fiber optic arms, etc’
Lumenis urologic line became a hugely significant market success and as a result, the surgical division of Lumenis was acquired in 2021 by Boston Scientific for $1.1 Billion.
